I was shopping online early in the month and noticed this item.
This is a Chocolate Advent Calendar from Lindt/Lindor. Behind each little opening is a chocolate Lindor truffle. Wow, what a temptation that would be to have a chocolate truffle waiting behind those small advent windows. However, I guess the wise woman would enjoy the process and allow her loved ones to enjoy the candy.
I wonder, are there any wise women out there or are they all wandering the world at this time of year? We always have a felt Christmas Tree Banner that we stick a puffy felt ornament to on each day. If I were not writing this journal for the world to read I would be planning on tossing that tree in a drawer next year and ordering one of these delights.
However, I do know that the real secret to resisting temptation is barring the door against it. That means we are starting a new tradition with the new year. Everyone who brings treats into the house, that would NOT be moi, will be required to have their own personal stash and to bring only their own personal serving out from the stash. No bags, boxes, or other containers allowed while watching TV or generally hanging out.
! Enjoy it now family because the ban begins January 1, 2010.!

maybe Miss Nellie to have gotten the box of Chocolates where one a day is offered to you would have been a good thing. Then each day you would know some sweetness was OK. With the item not being banned, it would have lost someof the glamor and desire and maybe you would not have fixated on it so much.
You could plan your days meals to allow for for small snack. The secret desire item to take the sad out of the diet and add in some Glad.
